Training and support to achieve GNO accreditation for a volunteer artist collective running a radio station.
Through a series of 2.5-hour workshops, we worked collaboratively with the Thf crew to pin down and build out their shared values and principles for safer spaces, and decide collectively how to practice these values at their events.
We supported them to establish a welfare crew, thinking through each role, how to address unequal task and interpersonal conflicts, and manage issues with care when everyone is giving up their time for free. We also explored how to engage with vulnerable neighbours and how artists can build deeper relationships with the surrounding community.
